Lawrie wilson - 3 Game Ban?

I've justice that Lawrie is getting a 3 game ban. I thought proffesional fouls (denying a goal scoring oportunity or being the last man) only warrented 1 match bans. It wasn't a dangerous foul. I was wondering if someone could clear this up for me or if the rules have changed?

I thought it was only 3 game ban for violent conduct or serious foul play.

Oh come on it's Charlton here we're talking about. They'll probably add another two match ban just because we are even debating it on a fans forum.
