Quiz 3 - The From/To Quiz - Arsenal to Rochdale

Here's Quiz No. 3 in this series. A reminder of the rules - name the player that came from the first club named on each line and went from Charlton to the second club named. No prizes, just glory.

For example, Ipswich Town - Tottenham Hotspur would be Darren Bent.

After last week's quickfire answers, this one might be a bit tougher.....we'll see.

Arsenal – Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient – Aston Villa
Aston Villa – Brentford
Brentford – Millwall
Millwall – Reading
Reading – Rotherham
Rotherham – Rochdale

Impressive. I was thinking that I would have to give a clue for that. I couldn't quite remember did he hit the post or the bar in the FA Cup game at Arsenal?

Well he wasn't protecting the full backs as we got ripped to pieces by Armstrong and Samuels that day!

I'm not sure an outside left was expected to protect a left back in those days.

He was before my time but I only remembered him because the Millers had another player with the same name in the 80's and I remember reading about him in their programme. I took a guess because I knew all of the other Rotherham connections didn't come from Reading.

So, one to go. Mr Wikipedia tells me that he played 83 games for Arsenal, 20 for Charlton but didn't get his first league goal until he joined Leyton Orient.
