  • That team might not concede but cannot see it scoring in a month of sundays!

Have you been taking lessons from Golfie ?

The crowd will be about 3000, we won't score for a month & your son's binned his S/T. Cheer up :-)
  • Charlton Athletic A-A Oxford United

    This.
Rain forecast to start hitting London between 8 & 9 tonight.
    Worryingly

    Alnwick

    Wilson - Morrison - Dervite - Evina

    Pritchard - Cousins - Jackson - Harriott

    Church - Cook

Subs: Pope, Fox, Wood, Stephens, Green, Kermorgant, Pigott.

    I think we'll win 2-1.
  • fell right off the January wagon yesterday and given how cold it's getting outside and how sore my head is, tonight is a no from me......this obviously means we'll win comfortably....up until the point it's abandoned.
  • (f) All players must have been eligible to play in the original tie in order to play in a replayed or postponed match; however a player who has been suspended according to the disciplinary procedures under the Rules of The Association may play in a postponed or replayed match after the term of his suspension has expired.
    (g) A substitute who does not play in a match is entitled to play for another Club in the Competition in the same season.

    (h) In all Rounds of the Competition a player shall be a “registered player” of his Club under the Rules of the Competition.
    (i) (i)
A “registered player” is one who is either, in the case of a player under written contract, registered with The Association or, in the case of a player without a written contract, registered with a League in which his Club competes in the current season. Any such registration must have been received and accepted by The Association or League by 12 noon on the Friday previous to the date fixed for playing the Round, and the registration must be continuous through to the date of the match. .

But he was signed on the 03/01 and the orginal game was the 04/01, was that not enough time to be resgistered?
  • Lets try Piggy and Azeez (or Sho Silva) as we can't use Smith. These games are the against teams they should be able to score against with a reasonably strong rest of the team around them. Might as well, what have we got to lose?

Rest Morrison, Solly, Wiggins for the start at least.

As above, it depends what time he was registered on Friday 3rd. I don't think we know.

I thought the upper west wasn't going to be open?!

    huge demand I guess.
looks as if all those who said closing the other stands is ridiculous might just well be right!
  • The issue is more likely to be that they are not confident there are enough tickets available in the lower west to satisfy demand to sit on the side of the pitch without management issues and they don't want to have to retrench at 7pm.

I'm sorry but I really cannot motivate myself for this match.

I normally attend all the home games I can, family and work permitting, but cannot be bothered with this one at all. Probably a reaction to Saturday's shenanigans but a late night, with the work i have on at present, simply does not appeal.

I'm being honest. If that makes me a bad fan so be it!

@Lincsaddick this is probably going to be the kiss of death but dry as a bone today and blue skies so you can take half the blame if the game falls foul to a late deluge.
  • ^^^^ good news ... so far ... thanks RC
  • According to the latest BBC local forecast there is rain coming our way but not until 9/10ish, hopefully the latter.

  • Calm down dears, it's all going to be fine, we're going to keep singing thru and come out with a decisive win.

Nobody wants to sit in the lower in case they get wet/muddy from the spray off the pitch.

Depends on the team that goes out but I think no matter what team we should beat Oxford. Might need extra time but we will be win 2-1!!
