Couldn't get there today - heard from another poster about the song - Bang out of order

    The man himself seems to disagree with you;

He's put a smile on his face thru' it - fair play to the man.

    Wrong, imo

Stewart put in the crosses that lead to the first two goals as well as some other crossed, worked well with wiggins going forward, covered him at the back and threw his body in to block a shot on the edge of the box. But apart from that what does he offer? : - )

    You must be his dad.

So you didn't see any of the above?

    : - )
Have no strong feelings on Stewart one way or the other. However, he was atrocious first half pulling out of tackles and even pulling out of a header. Kermongant was getting very angry with him and towards the end of the half read him the riot act. He didn't celebrate the goal and for me , on today's performance, was poor. To mention that his poor cross eventually got through to him for the first goal is ludicrous.

Harriott would have run off the pitch or tried a trick and lost possession..
At the end of the day Stewart isn't amazing bit has a part to play in the squad

  • Alnwick - 7
Solly - 8 great to have him back
Morrison - 7 was solid for most of the game
Wood - 8 every game he offers composure and offers leadership
Wiggins - 8 Bosses the left with little help from Stewart
Wilson - 9 Besides 2 great finishes; was comfortable and up and down
Stephens - 6 Still not seeing the point in him
Cousins - 9 MOTM; Different class again
Stewart - 7 decent second half; non-existent first half
Church - 8 tireless, great worker
Kermorgant - 9 back to his best; what a player

  • Alnwick - 7 - Not much he could have done for their Goal, was commanding when coming for any crosses thereafter though.

Solly - 7.5 - Bit rusty in the first half with a couple of passes but its bloody good to have him back... So calm in keeping the ball at the end.

Morrison - 8 - Solid at the back... I like his partnership with Richard Wood

Wood - 7.5 - Same as Morrison, his distribution wasnt as good as it can be though

Wiggins - 8 - Did a great run down the wing in the first half (Classic Wiggins) and kept Lopez quiet out on the wing.

Wilson - 9 - Two great finishes, has a great partnership with Solly, they really work well together.

Cousins - 8.5 - Every game I expect him to be given a rest but he's always there... Possible POTY, dead cert for Young Player of the Year!!

Stephens - 7.5 - As someone said, makes the hard things easy, makes the easy things hard... Did well at one point closing down the 'keeper yet when the ball went forward to their Midfielder (who started the build up to their goal) it went into the position Stephens should have been in.

Stewart - 6 - Not impressed today, he's had better days.

Church - 7 - As someone said... 10/10 for effort, 6/10 for being a Striker - Proper Charlton player

Kermorgant - 9 - Didnt lose a header, Mrs Yann is gonna kill him tonight when he takes those shorts home for her to wash... Fully deserved his goal, like Jackson he'll probably only ever miss out on POTY because of the Youngsters coming through

Yann Told him exactly that as well. He was fuming.

Yeah was watching that as they were waiting to re-kick off...

Hate seeing it to be honest and think that sort of thing should be saved for the dressing room, was the same against in the Doncaster 3-1 match between Morrison and Wiggins (and they were at it for ages)

Forget how it happened whilst the match is in progress and just concentrate on stopping it from happening again rather than finding who's fault it was.

Alnwick - 7 - Man he claims crosses well. Fills me with confidence. I like Hamer but Alnwick should now be No.1
Solly - 8 - Forgot how great he was, Great tackles and going forward he was class to. Oh how I've missed him.
Morrison - 7.5 - Was a rock, couple of crucial tackles and he looks a lot better with Wood and Solly beside him
Wood - 7.5 - Really good player, wins almost all headers as well as being pretty good on the floor. Solid.
Wiggins - 8.5 - Up and down the flank all game, well mostly up. Some really good runs and crosses, was lethal going forward
Wilson - 8.5 - Clinical finishes. Good link up play with Solly and generally good play all round.
Stephens - 7.5 - Him and Cousins are a great partnership, pretty good most of the game, did take one to many touches at times though
Cousins - 8 - So good for his age, reads the game so well, superb vision which was executed with precise passing. Breaks with the ball brilliantly to
Stewart - 7 - Was average first half, second half he was very tricky and whipped in some dangerous balls
Church - 7 - Won more headers than usual and made some very nice runs. 10/10 for effort but he needs to learn how to generate power in his shots
Kermorgant - 9 - What a beast!!! Won everything in the air and scored an absolutely belting free kick. Was covered in mud by the end, 110% effort with 111% quality. - MOTM
