Danny Kedwell

Was told last night that Charlton are interested in Danny Kedwell as his contract is up in the summer?

Thats from the horses mouth!!

Old fashioned centre forward thats what we might need to get out this mess?

  • Source?

    : - )

    Is he Championship quality?
  • potential replacement for Yann presumably since he (Yann) will also be out of contract.

    God help us if true.

Nothing against Kedwell who is a down to earth honest pro at the level he plays but even his family and friends would struggle to argue that he is a credible Championship striker particularly in a team with a midfield like ours where service is at a premium.
  • Its a step up but he like to get busy you never know?
  • I rather think that either he or his agent has been on the "source".

I bet my son five years ago he would never play in the Football League let alone for us. I might have lost that one but I'd lay the boy any odds he wants that he doesn't turn out for us.
  • Bloody hell have we sunk that low, no way is he good enough
  • Acworth would chuck his muck if he read this. He's been harping on about him for years
  • Real Madrid are interested in me!
  • Real Madrid are interested in me!

    To do what? :o)
  • The days of Tresor Kandol are returning it would seem.
    Strap yourselves in!

Boom, boom get in there my son :0)
  • Sure you didnt hear this indirectly from Ackers?
  • If we were relegated he'd be a credible option for next season seeing as he's free but in this division, no chance.
  • Sub-standard league 1 player. Might fit in here if things don't improve soon.....
  • I thought this was going to be a post about the erstwhile Grange Hill pupil.
  • He was class when he played for Welling, not sure he is good enough for the Championship. Gills mate at work says he struggles for Gillingham! I love the bloke though, gave me many good memories at PVR and especially when he scored the winner down in Dorchester and run into the crowd to celebrate (i was on the back of the news shopper kissing his sweaty bonce) - also he has a very fit mrs!
  • Not good enough at this level.
  • By the sound of it I would rather Dicko back

Never going to be Charlton standard. He's 30 years old and has only just reached League One.

Has 'Paul Benson' written all over it.
  • A good player at his level but does not have the ability or attitude for a higher level IMO
