Ive seen photos of players in the round neck version:



....but none of players in the collared version? Have TOFFS just made this shirt up or was there really a collared version used by the club in 50s-60s?

It also confirms that we did play in all red at some point in the sixties. I'm glad about that as I had been told my memory was impaired. Can't remember who on here told me that though!

No we never wore this shirt we had a similar one with a round neck which was worn as a 1st team home strip together with white shorts between 1965 to 67 it is known as the texas rangers shirt to us old codgers .

Yes we played in red but only for one season around 1968

I remember us being in all red in either 68 / 69 or 69 / 70
