As a season ticket holder I am gutted that I won't be able to attend but will have to listen to the delightful Emma on Player. Only consolation is that the thermometer by the Florida pool is showing 83degrees
Agreed - I thought there was a shade under 10,000 in the ground. I suspect that at least 1,500 or 2,000 were snookered by the train delays and cancellations.
Longest queue for a half time point ever in North upper. Gave up.
Same in the North lower. There must be some law of physics in operation at the Valley. The speed of service at the bar is indirectionally proportional to the size of the crowd.
I wouldn't be surprised if the turnstile count was under 9,000 - loads of empty seats in the north upper, which is usually the most packed.
I think the trains probably kept a couple of thousand away - I know of several who were stranded and gave up. Then you probably have people who couldn't get home from work in order to come back by car, etc.

That's probably due to the idiots that they employ.
Me: can I have a Bovril and a Kit Kat? Him: A Bovril? Me: Yes, a Bovril. Him: Is that a beer? Me: No, a Bovril.
Guy next to him points out the error of his ways. He eventually finds the Bovril cups before coming back.

Him: What else was it you wanted?
The poor guy was in shock! As would I be, Bovril and chocolate!!! OMG
