  • I also want to do this. I know my ex gfs dad owns an art/framing shop on the Lee Road called Studio 61 and knows his stuff, unfortunately the Charlton shirt i have that needs to be framed was bought for me by my bit on the side while I was seeing his daughter!

I would recommend Studio 61 though, he knows his stuff.
  • There used to b a very good one in sidcup high street although that was years back and not sure if its still there. Just down from the mcdonalds

If you think you can mount the shirt yourself, you can buy frames on ebay for football shirts from £20 upwards.
  • I got some pictures framed in a little shop in Eltham. It was in that little arcade. You could ring him and ask if does as he was very reasonable I thought. I just don't have details at mo.
  • Message algarveaddick, he had a load done

I used these guys too, pretty good price. Ikea used to do these great frames, perfect for shits and quite cheap. Amalgamation.

Not sure too many people are looking to frame things like that...
  • Shirts can cost quite a few ££ (I have seen £60 - £200) to get done properly. Do not be put off by the price as it can be quite tricky to do and use lots of materials that usually cannot be seen to the naked eye. On the positive side, it will add value to your shirt and keep it in pristine condition.

  • There is a company called Inspirations - their framed shirts look great.

I know Andrews Sykes use them for their framed Charlton shirts. Based in Orpington I think.

    Around the £100 mark.
  • £100 about average. If anyone needs this service in the West Malling area pm me as I used a very good guy there for many years.
  • Very handy thread as need my Powelly signed shirt framed. Had a look online and was very expensive.

With the correct glass it will preserve the shirt, so do not be put off by the price. I have seen many a shirt with faded autographs on over the years because they have not been framed or had the correct glass in it.

  • Hamers shirt seems to be framed alot recently.
  • Inspirations are near me tell Steve from Winston Sports put you in touch, you should get some discount.
  • Anyone got the polycarbonate ones that soccer am use? Are they any good?

The wife would have the number, she had a unit at Mill Yard for years. Unfortunately I have not spoken to her since June (long story). If you know West Malling, Mill Yard is off Swan Lane (on the way down to the station, Post Office on the corner on the way in). There is a gallery/picture framers under the Tea Rooms. I have used him to frame 15 Charlton shirts over the years and he did a good job for around £100-120 if I remember. If you're going in with a Charlton shirt he may remember me because he was only used to framing the usual Arsenal,Chelsea etc shirts.

And I will get to put those 15 framed shirts on a wall one day!
  • Got one off EBay and done it myself. Cost around £60, easy to follow instructions, looked superb

That sounds reasonable. What did you put into Ebay search, something like DIY shirt framing? Seem to be quite a few on there.
  • Curb-It your forgeting that £125 is mere shrapnel to the Cardinal

Thanks for all your guidance .

its a 101 point season shirt so deserves a good frame.
  • Bluewater there used to be a shop but not had one done for a while!
  • Finally framed in Sidcup are good the sow the shirt in to a board the colour of your choice to stop it sagging about £120.00.

Like it, a boxing glove in a fish tank.
  • You really do get what you pay for here. Acidlee is right, unless they are done professionally, they can look poor after no time. A lot of the money is in your choice of frame.
