Is there a job at Dartford?

  • Gutted Curbs cant make it now was looking forward to seeing him.
  • Don't know anymore about Curbs not coming other than what was on the website.

There's a planning meeting tonight. I'm not going but if there is any news I'll post it.
  • I think he has some TV work

    Does he repair flat screens?

  • Update ! Update ! Hear all about it !

Of the 400 tickets originally up for sale, the total bought so far is 315.....so if you haven't made your mind up whether to join us , I suggest you get a move on. Would expect the dinner to be sold out by this time next week if not before....

In addition to the Top Table of Charlton Legends , as advertised, there will also be a number of ex players from pre 1992. The names will be on the OS in the next couple of days, but as a taster, how about having the opportunity to talk to ......

    ....Peter Shirtliff

    ....Harry Gregory

    and Mike Flanagan ?

Oh, and to clarify the situation regarding Curbs, he did originally confirm his attendance but has been forced to withdraw due to his contractual agreement to commentate on a Premiership game that afternoon. A great shame for all concerned but maybe next year..?

Make that phone call to the Commercial Centre first thing tomorrow !

  • Will Fred Perry be there?

Now you're being silly, Plaaayer !

He just hasn't responded to our calls....

  • Jean - what time do you think the actual dinner will start ? I know someone interested but who couldn't get there until at least 6.30 - 7.00

Doors open at 5pm. Seats at the tables to be taken at 6.15. Legends & Pre 1992 players introduced from 6.45 . Dinner served at 7pm.

Don't want to discourage anyone but suggest 7pm is the very latest that entry could be gained into the North Stand Suite for obvious reasons.

    Hope that helps.

  • Apologies for hijacking this thread but wanted to confirm that I shall be organising the table plan once all the tickets have been sold.

There will be many names on the list that I don't recognise and/or identify as Lifers so should anyone booking tickets with less than a group of 10 wish to sit with fellow Lifers, please sort this away from the thread and message me accordingly and I'll do my best to accommodate you. Thanks.

  • Bought my ticket just now. Shifting more this morning, they said.

    Great stuff, Henry.

Will you be seated at the Legends' table ?

    No, they're sitting at mine : - )

I will leave it up to you and Ian to do the seating. I've got to help in the players lounge and then with what sounds like a super 21st century techy auction. Got some great prizes so hope they raise some serious dosh.
  • Can we not raise more money by selling the chance of seats at Henry's table?

    Corrected it for you : - )

    Are you there Del?

  • I am there and would love to be at your table - or Fanny's table - or both - if it can be arranged.
  • Not many tickets left. As far as I can remember the Legends who will be at the dinner are Eddie Youds, Dean Kiely, Steve Gritt, Colin Walsh, Mark Kinsella, Mike Flanagan, Keith Peacock, Harry Gregory, Jason Euell, Theo Foley, Chris Powell, Sasa Ilic, Paul Mortimer, Simon Webster, John Humphrey, Richard Rufus, Derek Ufton, Brian Kinsey, Jim Melrose, Darren Pitcher and Phil Chapple.

I might have missed someone as I did that from memory, but those have all confirmed that they will be there. If that lot does not get you excited, you have wandered on to the wrong site !!

  • Great guest list.

Pleased to have Derek Ufton, Keith Peacock and Brian Kinsey there as they are the three patrons of the museum.

Killerjerrylee/Fanny, can you stick me on Derek Hollyoake's table (or vica versa). Ta
