    Oh well folks, we gave it a go, and a narrow scoreline, keeper long, dorian back, and that's it, we lost 2-1, but shredded their nerves at the end, hudds cling on.

    Good spirit at the end, but all too late. The key was just one attempt on target in the first 70 minutes. Must get the midfield moving up and supporting the strikers.

    Cue utter despair all round I suppose. But in perspective as a game, which is how CP and his team will read it, it was a narrow defeat, grim up north, but things to work on. Certainly didn't sound like an abject performance, just a drag. The killer really was the goal just before half time. It happens.
