Greetings

Well, here we are on the eve of Town vs Charlton part 46 based on recent seasons!.

As has been the case, thought I would offer my tuppence worth for what it's worth!.

We are playing well in most parts, made some good signings and are a much better proposition than last season (Hogg from Watford is different class). Saturday, against for me a very good Donny side was a fair draw, they had the first half and us the second. We can play better though and suspect we will with a couple of changes tomorrow. Jon Stead in for Paterson (Stead unplayable when he came on Saturday) and Scannell likely to start after a fine appearance from the bench.

Jazz Richards on loan from Swansea (plenty of games for him even though he is young) also due to start in defence after International clearance.

Feeling positive as a Town fan at the moment, so what about you lot?, what's going on and any Team news or any other news re tomorrow?.

Also, how many do you think you will bring?. I am out round Town tomorrow having a few before the match with a couple of the Lads if any of you are getting up early!.

As stated before, got a lot of time or you as a Club, your Manager and your supporters.

For those that are coming, have a safe journey and enjoy the visit to our Town and Stadium.

  • Welcome. Thanks for the insights .. we'll take just the one point from you this time ((:->)
  • We struggled a bit early on and got extremely lucky that our game against Donny was called off. But since then we seem to have found a formation that suits our players so will be a close game. Wouldn't be surprised if we rested our best striker (Yann Kermorgant) for the game against Millwall, after he got a little knock at the weekend. 2-2 would be my guess.

What are your feelings on Jack Hunt's move to Palace?

    Jazz...What a name!

Kermorgant always does well against us, rest him!.

Re Jack Hunt, sorry to see him leave, however, we have cover for him more suited to this division.

Out and out quality going forward, can get caught out defending. Gutted for him re his injury and will do well in the Prem I think, he is a talented footballer.

Jazz, in the local paper after signing, he looked like some sort of rapper!.

Hello LBTF. Good to have you back on. I remember last season you were on here being less than complimentary about Mark Robbins. You think they made the right choice now?

Thanks and yes, I didn't think he initially had the 'impact' the Chairman had said we made the change for, well am sure he didn't (personally, I would have given Grayson more time). However, with the benefit of hindsight, would Grayson have kept us up?, not sure he would.

The football is way, way better to watch so yes, initial fears I had appear to be unwarranted.
  • Sorry LBTF, I got to write something serious but can't get away from your initials reminding me of some form of right on equality group (Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, French)
