Comments

  • 0-0at half time
  • Powell weakening the U21s
  • Either the game is reeeeally bad or the live update thing has broken
  • Finished 0-0
  • Was there. Not a whole lot of incident. Millwall bossed the first 30 minutes. then the rainshower, it got better for us then, and we more or less bossed the second half. Our best player was Fox, followed by the second half showing of Munns who was pushed up the field and Jordan dropped deeper.

Just back as well. The weather and the slope were against us in the first half. Almighty hail storm, strong wind and torrential rain ensured everyone got thoroughly soaked.

Felt if we held out until half time we would use the obvious weather advantage to win the game. Half time came and then bright sunshine and minimal wind:( We bossed the second half, but this side is not a patch on last years in the striking department and I cannot see them storming the league this season. Sad to see again that Azeez has gone backwards and feel he will be released without ever playing for us at end of the season.

Sho Silva was extremely lively when he came on and how he was dropped from the last game is a mystery to me. As I say Cook and Azeez were poor. Not sure from that performance who may make it. Fox has a very sweet left foot and tested their keeper twice, but no one else impressed, other than Pope and Muldoon as a second half sub. Bradley Jordan, Harry Osborne and the new lad from Palace all are just not good enough. Sorry if that sounds harsh but that is my opinion.

Finally MIllwall. Even at an U21 fixture their fans are just so scummy. One group of "lads" walked across all the training ground pitches during the downpour to return 30 mins later with most of the contents from the local Kebab shop. After the game walked back the same way and decided it was cool to abuse the two sets of academy players going through their training routines. Some things never change.

  • Scum for walking across training ground pitches and returning with a kebab from the best kebab shop in SE London? (I presume they went NEG and not SuperFry)

    LOCK 'EM UP!!
  • There is a road/walkway which everyone uses as it clearly states at the ground to keep off the pitch. Perhaps they could not read.
  • They must of just pointed at the illuminated menu in the Kebab shop and grunted then before running off without paying, SCUM!!!!!

    ;0)

You appear to have missed out the bit where they abused their own teams academy players.
  • Personally I missed any incident, and loads of spectators walked away over the pitches sadly.
As for Millwall the player Bender (captain) I thought was their best one, and in the first half Aiden O'Brien their number 9 was good.

It wasn't as clear a that. Game was over, but the two teams who just played were training again?
I assumed he meant other academy teams or they were doing a warm down.

0-0 away to Charlton, they should've been booed off and chased down Sparrows.
  • I see Feely is back from his loan spell at Carlisle.

What position did Daniel play in?
  • Daniel was subbed at half time for Muldoon. He had been playing central midfield I believe.
  • I spent the game chatting to a Millwall fan. When the heavens opened he let me shelter under his umbrella. I didn't think we started with our strongest team by any means. When Muldoon and Sho-Silva came on that was a bit better. Poyet deserves credit for struggling manfully in midfield without too much support until Muldoon came on. I'm not sure why we've signed Daniel. I thought he was LB but he played Left-mid and didn't seem at home there. When Gerard is back I'm not sure Jordan will be part of our strongest team.
  • Did we play the diamond formation or has Euell switched to 4-4-2?
  • Looked like 4-4-2 to me. Munns was the most attacking midfielder, but got stuck in pretty well everywhere in midfield.
