  • If Yann plays then i can see us knicking it by the odd goal. Without him i can see us losing 2-0
  • 500 whippets kicked to death after Yann Kermogant scores injury time winner and flat cap sales fall by 78%.
  • A dull game for many but always one with a bit of added tension for me as my wife is a hudders fan! Will be there for my first away game of season and reckon we will win 2-0
  • 1-2 sounds good to me, jj and churchy for the good guys.
  • Virgin trains from Euston seem to be very slow, must be some delay on the line. I'm going Hudds via Manchester as I'm working there for the rest of the week.

So we're expecting to win this are we? A win against Leicester and a skin of the teeth draw against Watford and the predictions of a play-off spot cannot be far away. Sales of hanging rope and razor blades to go up by 100% by 9pm this evening predicted.
  • dismal loss, 11 injuries, all post match trains back to London cancelled, all major motorways back to London closed due to a black pudding spill and Valley Express coaches abandoned when the drivers unexpectedly resign due to pension issues.
  • Has the look of a low scoring draw to me, and I am hoping for a first start for Joe.
  • To be honest, I can't see us scoring more than one goal. Hope it will be enough !
  • Huddersfield 1-2 CAFC COYR

  • Important we pick up points tonight and saturday with Burnley, Blackpool and Forest up after that.

I think we'll do well tonight. 2-1 Charlton, Stephens and Church.
  • 1-0 win, Sordell
  • 4-1 to the addicks
  • Hudds 1 Charlton 3...................JJ, Pritch and Church for the ever improving Addicks!

No one should have to visit Huddersfield twice in such a short amount of time

That is so ignorant. Hudds stad is surrounded by woods in a very clean town with the lovely Penines and Dales as a backdrop. Your comments just show that you are living in the past, or you have never visited the town in the last 20 years. You embarrass yourself.
  • On the coach on the way up there , Jackson and church with goals in a tough 2 - 1 win with Vaughan scoring for Huddersfield my guess!
  • Not another game with this dull club. A close affair but I think Vaughan will provide one piece of class to separate the sides, 1-0 to the udders. Possibly a few dubious injuries picked up as well if I am being cynical...

Yet another Charlton supporter who has no idea what he is talking about. I'm not being aggressive towards Charlton supporters, but you have a few misguided, ill-informed, vocal and obnoxious amongst your otherwise decent fanbase . They are all fans who either don't follow football closely , or never attend matches.

Huddersfield are a pretty dull club based in a town more known for it's rugby. Playing in a non-descript stadium doesn't help either.

you need to calm down and realise that not everyone in every club loves huddersfield. Take a chill pill and ignore the banter If you offend easily.

their supposed size is irrelivant, they are a solid side and could easily bite us on the arse and take all three points
  • I fancy a 2-1 win, with Sordell bagging the winner. However, I called the last two results bang on so this will probably end up 5-1 to them.
  • huddersfield is a shithole and when i went i saw penchant running around in his string vest and braces scaring all the kids with his manky whippet

Of course, that's true. I'd quite honestly take a point going into the weekend. I'm just toying with the Hudders fan. :-)

i just hope we dont get a few udderfield fans on here getting the same vibe which we did when looking at the Watford forums, the whole "Charlton is a sh*thole, awful racist fans etc etc," it would be horribly misleading :-)

  • Huddersfield Town are a proper football club with a proud heritage and the game where we ended their record 173 match unbeaten run at the was one of the best matches at the Valley in recent seasons.

Having said that I don't think this is a glamour or grudge fixture for either side and a bore draw looks likely.

    1-1
  • @JT have some of that! Haha

To be fair they did win back to back to back Championships in the 1920s.

They have been, realistically, a much more successful club than we are, or probably ever will be.

  • I hear that young Kermorgant is a non starter, if that's the case I would like to see Joe Pigott start up front along side Churchie. Reason; I think Joe holds the ball up better than Sordell and I've got a feeling tonight he will get his first league goal. I still don't think we'll get anything out of it, Hudders have started the last few seasons very well, but I'd love to be wrong.
