New bike day. Amazing what you can find if you shop around on the internet. Ex hire bike (mint condition). Was bought as an N+1 but suspect it's going to be my main ride.
Di2 from the old winter bike going on next week, which will finish it off nicely.
Officially classified as Aero, but far more comfortable than my Orbea Orca Aero. So much so that I am considering trading the Orbea against an out an out Endurance ride.
Vanity is pulling me towards the Pinarello and I am thinking the quality of the frame would make it ideal for future upgrades. Had a BMC a while ago, but found it very dull.

I got a Dolan ADX Titanium in the end. Originally came with Mechanical 105 but I am a total Di2 snob these days and found a decent deal on a used upgrade kit so it will be Di2 Ultegra once it's fitted on 22/5.
Second time this has happened in 8 months. Tyre ruined and lovely big scratch on 3 month old carbon wheelset. Councils tell you to use cycle lanes then never sweep the fucking things.... .
Having some right old issues with my Cannondale SystemSix.
Been having a metallic loud creaking sound come from the bottom bracket area for a while now. Does not happen straight away, but gets worse as the ride goes on especially in the small ring and going up hills.
Had the bottom bracket changed, had the spider greased, cassette and chain changed. Still no makes the noise.
Tried it with a different back wheel today, and it still made a sound, but it was a lot quieter and rhythmic then before. So strange. Have no idea what’s going on.
Really annoying as doing the dragon ride this weekend and don’t want to use my reserve bike, but also don’t want to use a creaky ass bike.
Been suggested to ask at Blue Door Bicycles in Crystal Palace (yuck). So will give them a call tomorrow and see what they suggest.
Love spending more on my bike then my car l, just for it to be a twat.
Are you sure it's the bottom bracket? I've had similar in the past and it was a loose lock ring nut on the chain rings.
However, as it's a Cannondale I am assuming it's a BB30 pressfit bottom bracket? These are well known for creaking and their relative lack of quality. Was the replacement a like for like?
I'd certainly look at what other options you have for a Bottom Bracket as the BB30 really is pants.

The sound is coming from that area, but with it being changed recently I can’t see why it would be the issue.
I have been doing lots of research around the issue, and the chain ring, seat post, and dropouts have all been mentioned as potential hot points for sounds like this. So going to take a look at them myself this evening, hoping that maybe something is a little loose or needs regreasing.

Had a had a similar issue with mine around a year ago, took it into a shop to have it looked over and they tried everything but couldn’t find where it was coming from.
They sent it back to Orro as it was still under warranty and they found a tiny crack on the frame under the bottom bracket and replaced the frame. Might be worth having that looked at.

Yeah, that’s what I’m most worried about. Especially if it’s bad and it decides to snap in half when I’m descending some long Welsh hill this weekend.
If the chainring bolts, dropouts are not the issue then I’ll find a cannondale stockist and see if that’s an option.
Did my knee in a couple of years ago, so sold my Condor Leggero and bought this gravel e-bike to help stay mobile. I really enjoy riding it, but it's limited in terms of range - about 60kms or so. Fortunately my knee is much better now, and am beginning to miss the Condor (which I rode to Amsterdam with the Charlton gang about four years ago). Of course to buy the same bike now would cost 4k, and I only got 1.2 for it. Don't want to lose the Look as it'll be useful as I get (even) older. But seeing @nelsonsleftfoot 's new bike has somewhat whet the appetite!
Anybody know a decent shop that buy second hand bikes - I can't be bothered with ebay. This is a Trek 4 carbon hybrid, a couple of years old.

I usually take a 10-11. Depends on the maker. The largest I could find here were a 46 in Specialized, but they're too small. Not sure if a 47 would be too big That's the problem. There isn't even consistency across styles within a brand. It's going to be like spending 2 months in a shoe shop, trying on a pair every 2 weeks and being charged £20 a time for the privilege.
I thought I had wide feet (how wide is 'wide'?) and have been using Fizik Tempo curve wide in a 45.5. I went for a bike fit and the bloke said he couldn't do it because my shoes are too wide. I'm stuck not being able to get my fit issues sorted and not being able to get shoes that fit.

Sport pursuit sell some Lake models as a reasonable discount in case they have the right size and fit?

I think we all have some variation with “real” shoes. Someone said to me to use your most comfortable running shoe as the starting point. Their opinion is that sports footwear is more consistent in sizing. No idea if that’s generally true, but it does work for me.

Where abouts are you in Asia? I’m here too and have no issues. If you travel much, there are lots of good options in HK, Taiwan, SG, Malaysia, Thailand etc.
