Feel a bit daft posting this, but you never know. For the past couple of weeks have had upper body and face sore patches, feels like really bad sunburn. Eases from time to time but keeps coming back. Can't wear a seatbelt and it is starting to get me down. Have tried my gp, have tried a pharmacist, everyone just shrugs and tells me it will go away. No sign of any rashes or spots, just very sore.
Anyone had any experience of this of have any ideas?
Long shot, but thought it worth a go.

One of my daughters sometimes suffers quite severe eczema like symptoms and the quack suggested stress could be the cause.
maybe when you get in from work have a shower then slap a load on (as if you are burnt) and see how you get on, can't see it making it any worse...
I'm not giving medical advice.
My immediate thought Masicat was that it sounded a stress-related infliction, though no idea what the solution would be.
My other thought is have you had any infections in the months before it began, particularly respiratory? I had a quite nasty chest and lung infection earlier in the year. About 6 weeks later i flared up all over in spots. Called guttake psoriasis apparently, and its triggered by throat, respiratory infections. Bloody horrible it was, and took about 3 months to clear up.
Lastly, have you taken any antibiotics / different medication recently ? May be a reaction to that (I also had an allergic reaction to antibiotics. Bucket of laughs this year has been...)
Hope it clears up soon, Masicat...
