Millwall Game 21st September

The latest from the club regarding arrangements at the end of the game. Have they learnt a lesson from last season?

Having listened to feedback from supporters following last season’s game against Millwall in SE7, the club aims to communicate all information relating to the fixture in as timely as manner as possible, while also keeping fans informed of any late changes as they happen.

Decisions surrounding the security arrangements on the day will be made in conjunction with the Metropolitan and British Transport Police, although the game will be policed by local forces who have a detailed knowledge of the stadium and local area.

At the forefront of the discussions is how best to try and ensure the safety of both sets of supporters, as well as local residents, and at the moment there are no plans to place restrictions on the time or avenues from which supporters can leave the ground after the final whistle.
