And it's the Cantona derby this weekend! Utd are going to humiliate them!

They're nowhere near the worst offenders for too many players...Man City (82 players), Chelsea (75), Man U (74) and Spurs (74).

    Absolutely ludicrous position.

That's why squads should only be 25 like I said as a total for any squad

205 players across 4 teams that will not be involved in first team football

This list should be shown to every cocky young player who thinks moving onto a big sets them up for the big time. This list is proof that players like Solly and Wiggins etc should stay at clubs like Charlton and play football every week!

    Solly on loan?
Pl teams cant sign players on loan outside of the Transfer Window unlike us Football League teams. Unless this was a joke....then hahaha

I didn't realise Prem clubs couldn't sign on loan so thanks for that.

It was meant tongue in cheek but with Charlton you never quite know!

I was just looking at our second rival club's website when I found this, very funny indeed. He honestly didn't know, you just cant make stuff like that up.

At times, you could be forgiven for thinking Holloway is a bit simple.

If we get him they'll start calling Charlton Petite France

Hmm, it shows up the rather haphazard way Holloway has been signing players this summer, signing players earlier the summer, then trying to sign better players than these signings later in the summer!

I used to enjoy his interviews, but more and more he's coming across as a bit of a tw@t. It's not even a stripey thing...he's just become annoying now.

At other clubs Holloway has been vocal about how he gets a % of the profits from selling on players at a profit, so it's in his interest to take a few risks. I'm sure he doesn't lose out if the club makes a loss.

Weren't they also trying to sign Andy Johnson and Bendtner as well?

So 2 more players would've missed out too

Panic buying if you ask me. They are obviously desperate to stay up. Steve Parrish was in the Standard last night talking about how they want to rebuild the whole stadium. As much as they will have plenty of money in parachute payments even if they get relegated I think they are realising one season in the Prem might not be enough to turn that awful place in to a modern facility and keep a decent squad together. I expect them to replace Holloway by Christmas when they inevitably will be in the bottom 2. However shrewd their board are the stakes are just too high to not panic.
