Had me worried for a minute there. I booked my holiday just after the Spurs game but just checked and we don't jet off to Sardinia until the Wednesday. I shall have to watch our staying up celebrations at Anfield from a bar somewhere!
(must confess I thought we'd be relegated by then when I booked it!)
OH FOR CHRIST SAKE

Blimey, someone's tired this morning! As AFKA said earlier it might do us a favour as we'll know the other results and what we need to do (although we know we'll probably need to win anyway). Plus evening games at the valley always generate a better atmosphere.
Plus it could be worse, as if Spurs make the UEFA cup semis, the game would've been moved anyway.
Was looking forward to it being on a saturday to be honest, but as some have said on here at least we will know what is expected. And that will be 3 points i bet
I bet the supporters club were arranging their POTY do for the Sunday night so that's up the swannee. Otherwise I reckon it'll do us only good. We'll know all the other results and whether we need a win or a draw. The atmosphere should be electric and I reckon Sky will assume that we could either stay up or go down that night and so for them it's quids in whatever happens. Just hope they don't move the Sheff Utd game.
[cite]Posted By: Southendaddick[/cite]Am I right in saying we havent been the Sunday 4.00 once this season?
That would have been much better, all dayer and Monday to sleep it off.
Plus, thats where the big SKY money is.
Doesn't really matter when the game is, the only real difference at the mo is whether the match airs on Sky Sports or on the less lucrative Prem Plus, I think. Might change next season, though, when Prem Plus goes and Setanta take up those games.
Weeknights against Spurs always worry me because they remind me of the Cup match we blew against them a few years back - still, bring it on...
we also got turned over at home midweek in our relegation season. remember that spurs idiot running out the east stand, getting on the pitch, climbing to egt back into the east, and being on the receiving end of a right hander, sending him back down onto the pitch again

Its confirmed on club site, on rolling banner at top of the screen
So it must be true!! I love games under the floodlights. should be a cracking atmosphere
But I hate Monday night football. Although atmosphere should be ok as everyone will be lagged up.
Do you think SKY have pencilled this in as our relegation match?

So we can relax and take 3 more points anyway.
