got away with that.....BUT......work needs to be done with the entire squad......maybe offering some contracts and making players know where they stand would help......something is so wrong within the club
Maybe it would be nice if some of those players showed they're worthy of a new contract. Should spur them on, rather than the opposite.................
I assume tickets don't get refunded? The game being called off after half time at least allowed them to sell some of the prepared food & a few more pints?

cant disagree with that @tangoflash and understand where your coming from....however something is wrong when normally reliable players are not playing well......as I understand it Solly, Morrow and Wiggy have all been off the pace since the season started
They were standing around doing nothing for most of the suspension - likewise at HT. The rain had virtually stopped.
Maybe it's the groundsmen reflecting the effort of the players. "If you're gonna be that shit, don't expect us to bust our arses keeping the pitch clear for you to show us all up".
Or maybe they decided it was time they took a hand. "The players aren't gonna save this match, we'll have to step in".
Sounds like it was the Charlton goal mouth that was the main problem, so would have been to our advantage second half, especially against ten men. You can't risk players getting seriously injured, so a good decision.
This is spot on we were on the way back and with our pace down the flanks attacking the dodgy goalmouth and wings towards the north stand I feel confident we would have pulled this one back the surface made for keystone cops defending. Cousins was in his pomp get Jackson alongside him ASAP
Could be our season starts today. We got out of jail today, but 4 points from the first 3 games would have been reasonable. So only really one win behind where we would like to be, as things stand. Now we need to start playing.
Chris Powell and the team need to get their act together. Yes they got away with it today but that was a fucking disgraceful performence.
This 100pc. Hamer was utterly cringeworthy how he was crying non stop to the lino. We just failed to adapt in the way they did. Something has to change, morro is a calamity waiting to happen. Cousins was the only bright spot. We simply cannot dare go down - but the team we have is dog turd, and powell is done tactically week on week. Their players are not outstanding on paper but dickov organised them and made us look stupid.
Wasnt that bad a performance... the first goal was poor because the defence forgot you cant be offside from a throw-in
The other two goals were a result of the ball not rolling and by the time it was 3-0 it should have been 2-2 bar a great save from Turnbull against Pritchard and another save from Harriott when he should have passed to Church.
The game today was all about who was gonna adapt to the extremely poor weather first and unfortunately that was Doncaster (because of the poor first goal).
Cousins looked very comfortable which is a massive plus (in what had to be the hardest debut possible) and Church technically has 4 goals in 3 matches which is a return like what we got from BWP in League One.
As I heard someone else say when I was walking away... We just need to work out where the defense has gone.
In regards to the Kermorgant red card it was due to a hand in the face (first yellow) and was visibly pulled back by his shorts when he turned the same guy a couple of mins later
Things ain't right down at Charlton at the moment. No money all round. Even, apparently, affecting the standard of the pitch. We've well and truly been done over by our owners.

Why did he not abandon it when he took them off it was never going to be playable with it still raining!!!

Would be curious to know if Paddy and his team tried to do anything different to prepare given the forecast was obvious by Wednesday.
