Support the Charlton Women & Girls
The Charlton Athletic Women & Girls players will be making a bucket collection before the men’s match v Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 24th August, to raise funds for the club.
The club runs 7 teams providing football for over 120 young women and girls and play in leagues covering London and the South of England. The Women’s 1st team play in the FA Women’s Premier League and are arguably the strongest Southern team in women’s winter football.
The club raises it funds through membership fees, sponsorship, fundraising and social events. The money raised from The Valley bucket collection will go towards helping the girls purchase new Nike Charlton training kit.
The day after the bucket collection, you can also show your support for the Women’s team as they face West Ham Ladies in their opening league fixture of 2013/14. (See all details below)
