    In 2010 the total shareholding was sold to Baton for £2. Meaning that all the supporters who bought shares in the club lost all their money.
    As far as I can remember, there was not a word of apology from Richard Murray to the fans who had lost their money.
    A fact that seems to have been conveniently forgotten by a lot of people comparing the past glories of RM and the dubious dealings of TJ.

    Sorry, you may be 14, but you are spouting a lot of nonsense. If it weren't for Richard Murray Charlton possibly wouldn't exist. Check your facts please.

    yes i do realise that richard murray helped and even saved us from extinction, but he then led us back to a bad point. my beef with him is him basically scamming a few thousand fans out of the money by diluting the shares. and that simon jordan thing i sed was stupid but murray hasn't permanently changed us. he improved the situation, built a successful team and stayed in the prem for 7 years but then, he appointed dowie(bad), les reed (worse), pardew (good at first, then got us relegated and spent alot of money), parkinson ( did alright, but he wasn't anywhere near as good as scp and he could not save us from relegation and failed with promotion.). all in all he deserves praise but criticism for how he ended things and his inability to adapt to losing curbs

    as varney said, "we were so close to relegation and administration. that season before slater came in, we would have lost all our good players been deducted 10 points and gone down. in league two we would have done a plymouth.
