  • so, was it any good?

No it was a load of shit Gary. Honestly.

Completely underwhelmed. In the previous club's clip they had the Chairman speaking... now that would have been a bit of brilliant viewing if ours had been rolled out. Fat chance.
  • good for you hope you recorded it and watch it over and over again

and those that thought it was shit will forget it was ever on will not worry about what others think so much and post their own views like

it was a crock of shit whilst you watch pritch and ceddy talk about bluewater and flying planes

ideally one of the mgmt. team would've talked about how the boys have faired pre season what the fitness levels are like and a bit about what they are looking forward to this season

now either start watching it again and relax you seem to be very excitable tom

No I didn't record it, as I wasn't expecting much. Just thought some of the reactions to it on here were a bit over the top.

Just think we should be a little bit more thankful for the coverage. Yes, it wasn't hugely informative - but better than nothing.

As for your advice, I'll go and relax whilst you continue to try and make the same post 200 times a day!
  • there's lots of reporters doing 4 or 5 each

    That's a bit dull.
  • good for you now go lay down before you get too excited

Yes, I do. Again, just saying it was nice to have some Charlton coverage on Sky Sports News - no matter how significant or exclusive it was.
  • not really B but he could get it tbh
  • Sky trying to take attention away from launch of BT Sport today, that is all

I wondered why there was this frenzy about nothing

  • Well it worked to an extent... we haven't written two pages of comments about BT doing anything at all...
  • Anyone would think you worked for Sky Jimmy. :-)
  • Well done Fanny. Happy to chip in for seeds/bulbs for low maintenance colour in the spring. Everything else sadly will need watering. Hyacinths seem to pop up every year? maybe a few of them could go in? Would be happy to help digging/watering if you were still there one evening if they're funny about people being there in the day when the footballers are there?
  • Glad the wife forgot to Sky+ it now.
  • Totally agree with Nla wot a load of shit.

:-) I always say they don't brainwash you, but I think I just realised something....

  • just watched the skysports FL season preview .. 1 hour in length .. not ONE word about Charlton .. Oh .. Wright-Phillips got a mention as a vital player for Brentford last season.

Lets hope we make ourself relevant this year.

To be honest i am sort of glad. Always like it when we have a nice quiet approach to a season. Don't think we got many mentions before the season 2 years ago. All about sheff utd, wed, mk dons, uddersfield blah blah blah

    Aw, thanks, suzi.

From what I've heard, don't think there'll be a problem working whilst the players are around and we'd want to do the work in the daytime. Us old 'uns are in bed by 7pm !

As we've got older, in our garden we tend to stick to low maintenance plants & shrubs plus bulbs and feel this would be the best bet for the Pierre Bolangi area.

We're certainly not landscape gardeners but aim to tidy up what's there and gradually add /make some low cost improvements.

Hopefully, this time next year, any interviews taking place there will have a more eye catching background..
