Questions relating to Behaviour of the public award (Henry maybe)

edited March 2007 in General Charlton
Perhaps Henry or others can clear this up.

The club was awarded i think £20k at the end of last season due to the behaviour of the supporters. It was then decided it would be spent on 'supporter initiative'. If as Henry just suggested, the flags project fell outside the PL rules for what the money could be spent on:

1. what then has the £20k been spent on ?
2. how much of the pot is left ?
3. how will the rest of the pot be spent ?
4. how / who decides how the money is spent ?

thanks

  • Let me go back and check but this was in a programme at the end of 2006. It had all been allocated on community and academy projects as per the remit set by the premier league and the club decides and has it approved by the PL.

To be fair Sue Townsend (and I) were not fully aware of the rules and limitations when the request for ideas was put out
  • Fulham repainted a toilet block when they won it! FACT
