Thought it was strange that the likes of Fuller, Haynes, Wagstaff and Taylor were announced but not BWP. Of all of those players, BWP was probably the biggest fans favorite.
Why not thank them for the services, or at least announce they are out of contract ?
Baffling the lack of communication out of the club at times.
not quite true. It was announced that Haynes, Fuller, Taylor etc etc were not being retained but yes there has been radio silence over BWP but I think that was because he was on loan at Brentford we said nothing so as not to be seen as insensitive and then he has been forgotten about. The fact he has been on trial ay NYRB seems to suggest he has been released.
are the 'powers that be' hedging bets? .. if there is no success in the transfer (cattle) market, Wright-Phillips/and or others may be offered a new but possibly less favourable deal than he/they was/were on before
Bwp has been watching NY redbulls and has been living with Lloyd Sam over the last 2 weeks, he's put videos and pictures on various social networking sites
Tweet about receiving money from the Shelvey deal and there's a wailing and gnashing of teeth about them ruining their negotiating position by over-publicising, fail to give fans chapter and verse on contracts that are being negotiated and there's a baffling lack of transparency. Laughable.

We are playing St Mirren next Friday - any chance you know where the match is taking place ?

No, neither do our fans.
The south of Spain, somewhere near Gibraltar, Marbella, or the like. Come on how specific do you need it? What's the fun in not doing any investigations of you're own?!

And neither do the St Mirren fans so its not all on us.

On what do you base your comment that BWP is a bigger fans favourite than say for example Scott Wagstaff?
Just want to check if you're talking on behalf of all Charlton fans ? Again?

BWP will live long in the memories of Addicks as the man who's goals helped power us back to the championship in an incredible, breath taking, record breaking season. Best of luck for the future.
Not interfering with any negotiations, no confidential info or figures just a well written thank you and goodbye plus confirmation that another player is training with us.
And again I'm not blaming the Comms team who I'd guess would love to be able to write more of the same.
Just tell the fans all you can without compromising confidential matters rather than tell the fans the minimum you feel you can get away with.
Thanks Brad, gave us some great goals, important goals and promotion winning goals, always worked hard even if some refused to see that and even when he was on a poor run never hid and still tried to score.
You read that and can see it was clear a while ago. Very odd.
Thanks Bradders, thought he was an excellent servent for us. Scored goals, worked hard (i never really got the odd lazy jibe), and name will go down scoring the crucial goal at Carlisle.
Still feel he could have scored more goals and was just 10-20% short of being 'really good', but i've enjoyed watching him play for us and will miss the 'better than Shaun' chant.

I'm pretty sure six of them are now on pro deals with one departing.
No, neither do our fans.
Cawley also insightfully points out that Yann is our only senior striker.

Now it's official good luck Brad and thanks for the goals.
