    I seem to recall that he regarded being a fan as a childish affliction that he'd put behind him. But then again that was a popular view back in the 80s at least...hence the 3,000 gates at The Valley...

    If he was born in Brockley then his local club would have been a certain club that then played in Cold Blow Lane. Fortunately he escaped..............
