... we were very poor in the first half, couldn't string two passes together. Fortunatley Newcastle don't have much up front and Diawarra, Elk and Young all did well - but it could have a been a repeat of the Watford game.

We did well to get 3 points but will need to play better for both halves in future.

    Its was the same at Watford as well,Pardew must really give a good talk at half time
