    I would hope that if you type how to make a bomb or something about kiddie porn into a search engine an alarm goes off somewhere

    Those things are already in place without governments needing to know every small detail of everyone's lives.

    Though I find it funny that the people complaining about lack of freedom, are usually the same people wanting governments to do more to catch terrorists and criminals.

    Agreed completely - if knowing whether I searched for a curry house number or Rachel Riley naked helps the same people catch those who are a danger to society, then good.
