West Ham won't be in for a right back this summer. They recently gave two right backs new contracts.

As you say he's a LB so surely that answers your own question? However, as Callum says, new contracts for the RBs hopefully rules WH out. But other teams ie Fulham might be interested.

Fulham have just signed Sascha Riether on a permanent deal from Cologne. He was their on-loan right back, last season. So, maybe somewhere else.

Apparently they've agreed a fee of £15m for Carroll too. So might be a bit short on money for the rest of the transfer window.
