Kick off on Saturday

Anyone else disappointed that our last game is kicking off at 12.45? Will be a real stretch for me to get there but should make it but just don't understand why our last game of the season can't be at the traditional 3 o'clock kick off time.

  • Because Sky are showing two live games and they aren't allowed by law to show live games at 3pm on a Saturday when there are other domestic games being played (which there are in the PL).
  • all down to sky, they have Watford and Hull both live but all games have to KO at the same time

I hope that's not the whole reason.... It's a complete P##S take it if it is.

  • I'd rather late kick off at 5:30 than an early one.

But i can guess what the time the police would prefer too.

It's been the same every season for as long as I can remember. Same reason that the final PL game is usually on a Sunday.
  • yeah its always happened. It does make good viewing tbf.

As you say, I'd imagine they've gone early on Police advice. When you've got people storming the pitch they aren't going to want it at 7.30pm after everyone's had 12 hours on the sauce.
  • Just make sure you have a big breakfast.
  • however, see as 1) our game has nothing riding on it, either for the 2 teams playing AND more importantly, no other team in the league and 2) it is not being shown live, then there is no reason why we can't play at 3pm............is there ??

I think league rules state ALL games in the final round must start at the same time to reduce fixing of results so if sky move one game we all have to move

  • A pain, but I'll still make it from Bristol - beer's after the match I guess!
  • More time to party in the Lib afterwards
  • How can we find fault in an early doors ko

The sun will be shining get the one thing that gets in the way of a good booze out the way and bingo on the ale by normal ko time until dark

Champion end to season just imagine if the results go right and shitwall do go down

The booze will be even bettet
  • I've had a look through this season's programmes and the programme for the match against Birmingham City on 9th February 2013, had the final match listed as a 12.45 kick off. We've therefore had plenty of notice of the revised kick off time.
  • Exactly plenty of time to plan a proper piss up

Yeah, let's switch it to 3pm. Who cares about all those train tickets bought & the plans everyone's made.
