Seen as legions on here thought Bailey and Jackson were not championship players....
Bailey's a more aggressive tackler and defensive header, Jackson's more aware of when he should be making his runs. To watch them they are completely different players, they just shared a left wing role where they scored goals. I'd be happy to have both, and if Bailey's become positionally responsible then I'd be happy having him as a defensive midfielder. Albeit that his wages are way past what we should be paying now.
Our team's needed agressive tacklers, and frankly though he could be out of position, to watch Bailey helter back to tackle while Averagedo niggled and failed to head a 50/50 ball was so stark at highlighting how virtually no one else in the front six did so.
