Reading the live feed, Pigott seems to be involved in everything we're doing. Anyone seen him play?
Not seen him myself but got some feedback from his time at Bromley. Did well for them leading the line, meant to be in the "beanpole" target man mould.
I imagine he'll at least get another year with us, there's a lot of competition though with Smith and Azeez ahead of him and Sho-Silva coming up from the u18s.
Great result, surely a Category A spot is on the cards this summer? Won leagues, have Paul Hart involved and a youth product set to win back to back POTY awards

Doesn't work like that.
We are stuck at Cat 2 level now for three years and can't be promoted.

Typical Charlton, always looking at the negatives!! ;0)
Good performance all round. First goal great move- Feeley found Haynes with long pass down right wing, first time cross and Pigott there to tuck away. 2nd goal assist also by Pigott, heading back across goal, Cook credited with final touch, 3rd goal good work by Ade Azeez, winning header in the box, headed down and bounced over defenders into roof of net. Pigott was tripped in box for penalty, which Haynes tried to place in bottom right corner, but not enough pace, keeper saved well. Their goal, good header from corner 10 mins from time. Azeez could have had another, put through by Pigott, beat keeper but sidefooted just wide.
I have just got back from the training ground,a well deserved 3-1 win,it could have been more.Danny Haynes made the first when the ball was played over the top and Haynes squared for Pigott to tap in.The second came from a cross by Fox which was headed back across goal by Pigott for Cook to tap in.The third came from Azeez in the second half. Ade Azeez looked very dangerous when he came on for Haynes and should have had a couple more.
Champions and well done to both the U21s and the U18s for what they have done this season.I won't mention the penalty miss today.
Team
Pope Cousins,Feely,Lennon,Fox Jordan,Stephens,Poyet,Cook. Haynes,Pigott
Subs Azeez for Haynes,Harris for Poyet.Subs not used. Phillips,Ajayi,Gerard.
What about cousins and poyet? Cousins looked promising a few years back not sure how he is getting on now. Any thoughts?
Controversial I know as they are big names, but imo both won't make it with us but probably will lower down. It was the same with people on here going on about Bover, just overhyped really. Feely is one to waqtch - great talker and leader of the back four especially so new (only arrived at Xmas).
I don't think you should "blood" youth players, whilst we have a chance of making the play offs. Unless you are confident that they will improve the first team & I can't see how that would be the case.

SCP stuck Harriot in when we near the relegation places, so why not

people were going on about harriott and others said he was overhyped and wont make it. I'll wait until they're both 21 til we cut them loose, like bover.

End of season is the best time, our playoff hopes are somewhat tiny let's be honest.

As I said, Powell did it to try & improve the team. He did this after trying how many on the left ? Jackson, Wagstaff, Green, Kerkar .........
North Division up-date: Todays scores. Derby 0 Birmingham 4, Forest 1 Leicester 1, Huddersfield 1 Coventry 0. Huddersfield now Second, Derby third one point adrift, Leicester have already won the league. If Huddersfield win at Leeds on Wednesday they are runners-up. Will we hold the play-off game at the Valley?
Went to the game with Mrs Cafcfan and thought it was an entertaining match with a well deserved victory.
Comments on some of the players. Fox excellent; Piggot had a very good game and put himself about (more than just a "beanpole" striker); Azeez also looked very good when he came on for Haynes; (Haynes penalty was more of a good save by the keeper than a miss although Fox gave Haynes a lot of stick about it - is Fox the usual penalty taker?) Cousins, not sure, he is obviously a very competent player but I wonder if he is so useful as a utility player that he's not benefitting from having a settled position; "Touchy" Feely (Okay, I just made that nickname up but I quite like it!) commanded the back four and didn't stop talking throughout - looks like a promising propsect; Pope didn't have much to do but his handling was faultless, his distribution suffered from a very brisk head-on wind in the 2nd half.

Like to see him in the first team in the last two games.
Hope he gets a league 2 loan next season
