Can any of you honestly say that we have played well since mid way through last season?
Yes as many of you have pointed out we won 6-0 v Barnsley but they had 2 sent off and we still didn't manage to dominate. It was embarrassing.
I just don't think Powell has sorted a team that can win matches.
Is it really everybody who disagrees with me?
There must be some other realistic Charlton fans out there?
1. I'm not surprised at all.
2. Yes, we've played some very good football. Shame you've missed it.
3. 6-0 and it's embarrassing!!! There's another thread here about words created/popularised by the internet, I'd like to add WTF? I wish I could be embarrassed like that every week.
4. If he hasn't, then he's certainly sorted out a team that's uncannily lucky. We've won five of our last eight. Long may it continue.
5. Quite possibly. If you're not the only one thinking like this, you must be in a very small minority.
I actually thought dizzee was joking, but the 2nd post has made him moron of the month. I am genuinely stumped by this....
For starters we were 4-0 up by the time Barnsley had a player sent off, what is embarrassing about that.
Not performed this season where was you when we were good then. Leicester home and away. Bolton at home, Blackpool home and away, Leeds home, brim away. Burnley away, Blackburn away, brizzle away, Cardiff home and away.
"I just don't think Powell has sorted a team that can win matches."
This is the base of your argument?? We have been winning matches! What exactly did you expect with a league one squad and very little money? I think Powell has done very very well.
Im pleased to see that not one person agrees with you.
We haven't been playing that well or really dominating matches.
Can anyone say that they are really happy with Powell this season?
Phil Parkinson's contract is coming to an end at Bradford and it will be interesting to see which other lifers would agree that he would be a good choice to get us up to the prem?
A few things have wound me up about Charlton recently.
Not only our poor season and manager but also this...
For the play-offs a few years ago against Swindon in League 1 I tried to buy a ticket for my normal season ticket seat but was told it had been sold. I was furious, surely that is my seat for the season.
Just hope if we do make the play-offs that this does not happen again.
Another problem I had was the League Cup match V Leyton Orient at the start of the season. I wasn't allowed through the turnstiles with my season ticket. I got in a right argument until eventually having to go home and miss the match.
What's happening this is my club and I feel like i'm being pushed out.

We actually have 14pts in the last six matches and +9 GD.

You have lost the plot, completely!
Genuinely hope Chris Powell doesn't read this board. The bloke has done wonders for us.

I think this thread should be closed.
Last week you said you thought Bristol C would stay up (they were already relegated).
Do you still fancy them to escape ?

Not good enough though, of course.
