Obika. Changed the game, must start surely instead of fuller?
Hughes. Good 10 mins, we missed him when he went off. Quietly influential.
  • Phew, thank god someone else thought Kermy was poor today - couldnt believe the marks he was getting - can he do nothing wrong?
Also cant understand the lower marks for Dervite (albeit only by a few)

Anyway, my view of the game today (my first win this season !)
hamer 6 - had little to do, aside from handling the lumped up crosses from Wolves when they tried to pile it up - what he had to do, he did well.
Solly 7 - just ctrl V from every game of this season.
Morrison 6 - had a shaky game , but looked solid when needed
Dervite 8.5 - brilliant game , MOM by far, won everything in the air, and was confident on the floor - gets extra .5 for being in the right place for his goal.Impressive display.
Wiggins 6 - in and out game. some poor distribution today.
Pritchard 6.5 chaser/runner - won lots of ball but invariably fluffed it to Wolves when trying to distribute it.
Jackson 5 - poor - never really in the game.
Harriott 7 - good player - at times looked like he was trying to take on the whole Wolves defence at times, which in actual fact happened in the second half when he found himself surrounded by 5 defenders when noone else was helping out.
Kermorgant 4 - poor, poor game - typified by pass in 2nd half when he had a simple pass inside to Gower but instead passed strainght to Wolves player
Fuller 7 - thought he was up for it today - did well.
Gower 6 - was ok, seemed a bit lightweight.
Green 6 - was gonna be a 5 but he did assist for the winning goal - although maybe not knowingly.

    Solly 7
Morrison 7 shakey start but boy he has done well for us this year
Dervite 8 mom. We look well balanced with him and Morrison in the centre of the defence.
Wiggins 7 pity we seemed to play everything down the right first half as he and Harriott looked dangerous
    Pritchard 6
    Jackson 6
Harriott 7.5 the news is out and they doubled up on him but they will still be having nightmares about him.
Kermorgant 6.5 below his usual commanding self.
Fuller 6 tried hard and got a good shot away first half
    Gower 6
Green 6 did a couple of good things, but when we were up against it he drifted around like a tit in a trance and nearly cocked up a great chance. So frustrating!

Obika deserves a mention as his two late goals have won us 4 great points. Hope Spurs do not want him anymore!
  • Green was the man of the match. Decisive contribution and dragged the game out of the gutter. How anyone can award that a 5 is beyond me.

Bang on. Green does not try to beat his marker again and again; he just wants to get the ball into the box or have a crack at goal. He did that superbly today and made both goals. He changed the game. MoM for me.

  • Hamer 7 Not at fault for Wolves goal in my eyes. Safe hands and quicker distribution than normal.
Solly 7 Couple of shaky bits, but some great play after that.
Morrison 4.5 One of the most overrated Charlton players in ages. Horrendous mistakes, not getting to easy balls first, no urgency at all etc. Has been mostly disappointing this year, should have been dropped for a bit like Hamer was imo.Taylor must wonder what he has to do to get a game.
Dervite 6.5 In right place for the goal, can see why Powell likes him, another hulk like Cort, and was good in defence today.
    Wiggins 6.5
Pritchard 6.5 No lack of effort
    Jackson 6.5
Harriott 7.5 Chased every ball, some great skills, so enthusiastic
Kermorgant 7 Was attacking midfield for last third of game. Held up well, and worked hard.
    Fuller 6.5
Gower 6 A bit shaky, but some good passes
Green 7.5 Great to see those sorts of crosses again. We have really missed him at times this season, but it's just a risk sometimes cos of his lack of defensive/tracking back skills. Was pleased to see him come on reasonably early (albeit because of injuries)

Hamer - 6.5. Not really any saves of note to make but handling was good. Equlaiser was well placed.
Solly - 7. Was just good today - didn't go forwards as much as normal. 7 is a Solly minimum score.
Morrison - 5.5. Not his best in first half but recovered
Dervite - 8. MOTM Thought he was excellent today.
Wiggins - 7. Defensively sound, like Solly not so influential attacking wise
Pritchard - 7.5 Thought he did his usual energetic performance. Problem is, a lot of work done off the ball so people don't notice. Powell will have though. Very important to us today.
    Jackson - 6 Solid enough.
Harriott - 6.5. Was looking to make something happen all the time. Problem was, Wolves doubled up on him.
Kermorgant 6.5 Won a few headers, lost a few. Did some nice tidy things and some sloppy things too. Not his best game.
Fuller - 5.5 Good shot first half but Wolves always had numbers back and we needed a bit more pace and energy.
Gower - 5.5 Pretty underwhelmed if truth be told
Green - 7. Brought some urgency into our attacking play

Hamer 7 Not a vast amount to do but what he did he did well.

Solly 7 Usual solid performance and helped keep Hunt in check.

Morrison 7 Developing a decent parnership with Dorian.

Dervite 8 Solid in defence, took his chance and played the ball well from the back.

Wiggins 7 Looked good going forward until Hughes went off but probably didn't feel as confident afterwards.

Pritchard 7 Usual hardworking performance. The loss of Hughes and later Jackson impacted on him.

Jackson 6.5 Not as prominent as usual probably because 3 games in a week caught up with him. I hope his hamstring is ok.

Harriott 7 This boy isn't afraid to mix it physically which is unusual in a winger and his skill and attacking instincts were as acute as ever. An exciting prospect.

Kermorgant 7 Difficult afternoon as Fuller was AWOL at times but stuck to it.

Fuller 6 Not one of his better afternoons.

Gower 6 Poor first half improved in the second. Jury's out.

Green 7.5 A sub is supposed to have an impact and he certainly did that today. Not convinced he can do it as a starter though.

    Green - 7.5

  • hamer 6 had little to do, but was nearly caught out by the long shot and was partly at fault for the goal.
Solly 7 not as good going forward as usual.
Morrison 5 Was very indecisive today, caught dwaddling on the ball 4 or 5 times.
Dervite 6 i for scoring the goal, his passing poor.
Wiggins 7 was solid and one of the better passers of the ball this game.
Pritchard 6 Better when had to move into the centre of midfield this game.
    Jackson 6 worked hard.
Harriott 8 gave them trouble all game the only player to find a way past there 5 man midfield.
Kermorgant 6 solid but given no protection from the ref
    Fuller 6 same as Kermorgant
Gower 5, seemed to pamicked on the ball.
Green 7 had a good impact on the game, his crosses good.
