How can it be fair that Man U get £158 million for calling their training ground a new name and wearing a sponsored training kit when clubs like Bury could fold for a debt of £1 million?
The thing is, if the Championship gets more money the clubs will simply pay more in wages to the same pool of players who are not seen as being quite good enough for the Premier League.

I agree . Off_it is probably right. In Germany the TV money is more equally shared out across the top 2 divisions. So why don't they all spend like hell on players wages? They don't have a wage cap, so the answer must be the ownership model, with 51% in the hands of members -fans. Which of course we are not easily going to implement here. But 10% would be a start.
