Wish we still had Millwall to play...

now that we have found our proper form!

  • Ohhaah will point out that we would still lose.
  • 10 pts out of 12 since we lost to them
    it's all just too painful

Ah but we are talking about form against Millwall, never changes...

  • If we had won that day they would only have 49 points now and we would be only 3 off of the play offs.

I know there are many what ifs during the season, but it would have been enjoyable to see that.

Was speaking to O-Randy-Hunt on the train this morning and we mentioned how the two Birmingham games stick out the most. Those 4 extra points and we would be well in with a shout.
  • Or the home game against the Massives, 1 nil up with 5 minutes to go or leading against Huddersfield, Derby and Brighton at home and only drew.
  • wish we still had to play them :

    you live with your mum's
    you live with your mum's
    you fight one another
    and live with your mum's
  • I bloody don't, getting 12 out of 12 is hard enough without factoring in the footballing gods who just wouldn't allow it!

We have thrown away a shedload of points this season: Birmingham H & A, Wednesday H, Bolton A, Huddersfield H, Palace H (offside? lol) & A stick out the most and we have not "robbed" anywhere near as many as we've surrendered. It's a shame really but I bet nearly every fan in the land is saying the same sort of thing, just think what a couple more players and a stable summer would've done for us. Nevermind, we've done fantastically, just hope we can close out these last 4 games, keep in the top half, keep that positive GD and it's a job very very well done by all those on the pitch and in the dugout.
  • We could have messi playing and we would struggle
  • We would still lose

  • don't want to play them again this year, they will only keep us in again, and if we did play them again and win we might hope we are kept in
  • We could have won the last four games 7-0 and would still be disappointing against Millsmall.
  • The thing is, whilst we were not at our best - we were the better team until they scored late on in that game.
  • I dont. Imagine all the police intel we'd have to listen to again.
  • If we had won all our games we would be champions by now....oh well.
  • we wont play them next year as they ll be down
  • If games ended bang on 80 minutes this season, we'd have 62 points right now.
  • We could be top of the league on a record breaking run and them sitting rock bottom and they'd still do us 1-0. It'd be like that Swindon game when they were bottom and ended our record run of wins
  • They could be non-league and they'd still knock us out of the cup, a la Northwich.

If we had won that day we might have lost every match since and be much worse off. We've got what we've got and its a great return on our first season back. I imagine I'm in the minority but personally i don't feel any different when we lose to milwall than when we lose to any team......

  • We had our best chance of beating millwall this season.

We had a full team to pick from. They had injuries and suspensions left right and centre.
