Was speaking to O-Randy-Hunt on the train this morning and we mentioned how the two Birmingham games stick out the most. Those 4 extra points and we would be well in with a shout.
I bloody don't, getting 12 out of 12 is hard enough without factoring in the footballing gods who just wouldn't allow it!
We have thrown away a shedload of points this season: Birmingham H & A, Wednesday H, Bolton A, Huddersfield H, Palace H (offside? lol) & A stick out the most and we have not "robbed" anywhere near as many as we've surrendered. It's a shame really but I bet nearly every fan in the land is saying the same sort of thing, just think what a couple more players and a stable summer would've done for us. Nevermind, we've done fantastically, just hope we can close out these last 4 games, keep in the top half, keep that positive GD and it's a job very very well done by all those on the pitch and in the dugout.
We could be top of the league on a record breaking run and them sitting rock bottom and they'd still do us 1-0. It'd be like that Swindon game when they were bottom and ended our record run of wins
If we had won that day they would only have 49 points now and we would be only 3 off of the play offs.
I know there are many what ifs during the season, but it would have been enjoyable to see that.
If we had won that day we might have lost every match since and be much worse off. We've got what we've got and its a great return on our first season back. I imagine I'm in the minority but personally i don't feel any different when we lose to milwall than when we lose to any team......

We had a full team to pick from. They had injuries and suspensions left right and centre.
