I go to 95% games with my old man but he didn't fancy the journey and maybe he thought the realistic chance of us being promoted that day was far fetched. That's the only thing I'd have changed about the day.
Was strange that we only had 900 or so fans there for such a big occasion, and even when the pitch invasion happened - nobody really knew that we had promoted, even though everyone was celebrating. Strange atmosphere.
But a deserved day out for the true hardcore supporters. I remember on here the week before there were a number of people moaning about the distance, the cost, the fact that we would probably bottle it, "Carlisle are a tough team" etc etc and therefore wouldn't go. But that was a day none of us who were there will forget.

Spot on tom.
I got on the pitch at full time as i thought the old bill would close ranks before the wednesday result came in.
Celebrating the official promotion on the pitch with the Players, staff and fans was unforgettable. Scooby Doo doing à forward into the goal and Seb doing the worm so far away from home.
