Nice piece Rick. I remember a feature in the Voice about how many dismal games we'd had at Barnsley, nil-nils 0-1's etc so Saturday's result must rate as the most exciting games the Oakwell faithful have ever witnessed.
Great result and I can't help but think that the end to the season that we're seeing is testimony to the team spirit that Chris Powell has forged and that the players also have to take a lot of credit for, not least Johnnie Jackson who they all seem to have a great deal of respect for as captain.
Even in the worst patches of this season I haven't been able to fault their effort and you can't ask for much more than that from a group of players - if they finish up around where they are now then my expectations for this season will have been exceeded.
Got mine today and read it cover to cover. Sorry to read at the end that its the last for the season. Many insights to the club that we don't get from other forums. Really interesting is the way Rick has harnessed contributors from varied backgrounds giving insights that I haven't seen elsewhere. Downside was Richard Hunt's article which I thought was negative, badly written and irrevalent but the rest was well worth the money.
