Good to see Prothero responding to the Voice editorial by publishing an article in the programme about the senior staff. Black mark for Matt Wright, though, as it seems he couldn't find a single picture of any of them to illustrate it . . .

to be fair, it was a reasonable article ... however I am aware we still do not know the full story
as for pics ... well, sounds like they are never around long enough for one to be taken ;-)

There are some interesting lines in the article, rather at odds with the truth, but I'm not going to pick holes in it. I think it's amusing enough that PTP jumped to it when poked by the Voice.
The point that would scream out to any editor - and Matt will think the same I am absolutely certain - is that it's very odd indeed not to illustrate such a piece with pictures of at least some of the subjects.
It's a decision that could only have been taken by a senior manager with no interest in or grasp of editorial values, and presumably is because he doesn't want them to be recognisable to supporters, which is bizarre of itself.

Got my copy last week off a young lad in the Lib and will be reading it on the way to Oakwell tomorrow.
:-)
I saw Shirty in the Bury dugout writing a complaint letter to send in for the next issue.
