Bristol City at home

12:45 kick off. But why? If all games are starting at the same time why couldn't Sky go for 3:00 just for once?

  • didnt we play B City in a must win game at The Valley in the 70z ? i think we won 2 v 1
  • presume there's premiership games that day and Sky want to show a couple of Championship games live.
  • Early start then...still will be in the plume for 3.
  • It's not Sky's fault - no-one is allowed to show televised games in the UK between 2:45 and 5:15pm on a Saturday. It's a PL and FL rule and it's been that way since the 1960s. The thinking was that by televising games with a 3pm kick-off it would discourage fans attending live games elsewhere.
  • Means you have a bit of your day left when you get home!

What at 1 in the morning :-)
  • full fixture list of Prem games that day with 3pm kick offs
  • Hopefully it will be a completely meaningless game. For us anyway.
  • Hopefully Sky haven't paid us to go into the last game needing a win...
  • I can't see City needing anything from the Game either. It will be an end of season kick about - hopefully!

We've only been on Sky live on once this season, surely the least of all Championship teams? As long as there's nothing riding on it for both clubs I can't see them paying us a visit on the last day.
  • Wolves on the other hand could bring thousands a couple of weeks before as they'll surely be right in the midst of the relegation battle
