On Saturday there is: Wendies v Blackburn Huddersfield v Peterborough all four teams are below us so is it best for us if they draw and get 1 point each or two of them loose and get nowt but the other two get three points each???
If we had to choose sides to win I'd go for wendies and peterborough mainly cos Blackburn and hudds are really out of form and both dropping like a stone defeats could Really leave them demoralised. And of course hudds goal difference as well to factor. Would rather the two or so sides out of form stay out of form, then a gap might appear, with us on the right side of it
I'm still hoping Wendy gets relegated, though Blackburn going down again would be good. I'm hoping for the Championship to be as southern as possible next year.
Whatever happens the 3rd bottom team after Saturday will have 48 points or less. A win would put us a minimum of six points clear with 5 games to play. 55 will see us safe imo.

You do know that the further south you go the more gay things get?

Charlton/Peterborough win & a draw at Hillsborough.
On second thoughts... Charlton win and two draws. If we draw then we want a couple of wins in the other games, as long as the team that loses keeps on losing.
I always prefer other teams to draw as it's a point wasted. As has been said already though, a win for us makes it all look a lot more comfortable.
Why? Surely it's a point gained if you are desperate for anything from the game, or two points dropped if it was a must win fixture to pull further away from the opposition. Anyway draws all round for me and a win for us.

Well, of course, I see where you are coming from. I would just have two teams that can falter in the remaining games rather than one. One point doesn't make inroads on our advantage too much whereas three points for any team makes them a threat. However, it's anyone's guess what will happen this year. One thing is for sure, it will seem more exciting if win our next two and pull away from the bottom.

Then we don't have to give a monkey's toss what the rabble do.

As for the relegation 6 pointers, I've no idea what's best for us...though feisty encounters witha few red cards will do.
Don't want any teams down the bottom picking up victories so that they can't stick a run together.
