Chris Solly 100 starts for Charlton tonight!

According to the BBC Sport website tonight marks Solly's 100th start for the Reds. I can probably count on the fingers of one hand how many poor performances he has put in during that time. #Mrconsistant

  • Can't think of one single bad performance. Only 'below par' performances which are still good.
  • If selected lol .. (takes cover behind the dustbin) .. well done Mr Solly, a CAFC legend already

    Well done Chris!

Trying to pick out other players in that Arsenal team. Is Jay Emmanuel-Thomas the big fella to his immediate left?
  • Goal to celebrate tonight please Chris.

  • One goal every 50 games? Poor. And he's too short. Get rid!

    ;)
  • Sure he had his 100th game a couple of months back?

  • Fingers crossed we get the benefit of the next hundred too.

Great game tonight by the lad by the sounds of it.
  • Wow where have the games gone
  • Had an absolute blinder by the sounds of it!!
  • He's no Simon Francis.
  • He's no Simon Francis.

Nope, he's Chris Solly - The best Charlton right back since John Humphrey
  • Best rb ever
  • Hope he gets to 500.
  • Solly was incredible tonight again, without him, we would have lost tonight!
  • The truth about Solly tonight from Seths perspective.
Lua Lua gave Chris one of his hardest tests ever. At the start of each half Chris was severely tested, but as usual he sussed the bloke out, and then bested him. In addition once Chris had sorted his opponent he then also helped others out, contributed very well defensively all round, and towards the end was joining our few attacks.
It was not an easy challenge for Chris tonight, but as usual he sorted it all out. I think Lua Lua was a much bigger test for Chris than Wilfred Zaha was at Crystal Palace. Zaha eventually switched wings because Chris had him all ends up.
Enjoy the rest of the season with Chris Solly, because if I were a prem manager looking to sign an excellent player from the Championship he would be on my list. I hope against hope I'm wrong and we keep him, but if Chris goes we had better get top money for him, plus all the add on bells and whistles.
We can always be proud about the way our club has spawned this great little player, he was probably turned down by the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea for being too small and came to us...thank god he did. Excellent footballer, really excellent.

And Barcelona for being too tall...................
  • Will be a fund raising pawn in our push for the prem next season imo.

  • Putting him in the shop window, genuine praise or both?
  • "He has got great quality and you can't hide it if people watch games. I would say he is a nine or 10 out of 10 in every game."

Chris Powells words not mine , i wonder if CP fills in the player ratings after a match? :-0
