Jackson. At season's start I thought that he was finished. In fact he has come through to be the most important player as captain, motivator and organiser on the field. Powell 'swears' by him and that is good enough for me right now
It's got to be Solly for me. The only player who's been consistently good every match he's played in. Jackson has showed some superb moments of leadership to turn games around and is leading goalscorer from midfield, but he has looked laboured on occasions. Kermorgant has always given the fight and commitment we need, but discipline isn't a strong point. Solly has been faultless for game after game after game.
JJ just pips Solly for me. Leading goal scorer and captain fantastic. Solly has been quality but without JJ and his goals we would be a lot worse off than we are.

If you mean Player of the Season. Then you need to take into account 39 league games & not just 4 or 5.
Jackson has had about 4 really good games. About 20 average games & about 15 poor games.
Solly has had about 30 really good games. About 8 average games & 1 below average game.
Go figure ?
Who was the last player to win it in consecutive seasons?
Solly
Hamer
Mark Kinsella 98 / 99.
Great to see Solly get 2 and a third consecutive.
John Humphrey won 3 consecutive in 1988, 1989 and 1990.
Nicky Johns won 3 in 81 /83 + 84. Keith Peacock won 3 in 72 / 78 + 79.
Last striker in 2006 Darren Bent.
Since 1971, just 4 players of the year have been won by strikers, Arthur Horsfield - 73, Derek Hales - 76 and Mike Flannagan - 77.
Were Wiggins + Harriott playing all year it would be a much more difficult decision.
Not Will, Philip or Steve though.
