Just received a leaflet through the door that looks like a charity collection leaflet ('leave your unwanted old clothes & toys etc in a bag on your doorstep on Saturday morning for collection and distribution to the third world').

Naturally being a cynic, I dug around on the net and discovered that, as suspected, its a scam.

They've said they are 'collecting' at 8:00 on Saturday morning. I'm debating whether to leave them a 'present' in a bag, or just stand there with a baseball bat when they come knocking... but they'll probably be kosovan gangsters or something and my house will end up burned down.

I heard that a load of Eastern Europeans are going round 'Collecting' other charities clothes bags in the morning as well in the Kent area, they were running their company froma Flat given to them by our wonderous Home Office. Deport the fuggers..!

I get a "charity" collection note through my door every week - the small print always says that it sells the stuff on, so not really a charity then! Dodgy - I never leave anything for them. If I have a clear out of stuff I take it to my local BHF shop, where the old ladies are very nice and grateful for my rubbish!
