Yesterday we had a double dose of Charlton on the steam wireless. A very eloquent and knowledgable Jason Euell was a guest on the talkSPORT 'Saggs & Quinny morning show'. He spoke passionately about his role with the CAFC youngsters. He sounds as though he could well be a great behind the scenes help to Chris Powell. A future manager or media pundit ?
On the rather more highbrow Radio IV 'Broadcasting House' earlier in the morning, one of the main guests was Stuart Etherington, introduced as a 'Charlton Athletic Football Club supporter'. Etherington is the CEO of NCVO, the National Council for Voluntary Organisations. CAFC was not mentioned during his piece, BUT, could he be a good man for the CAFC Trust to approach for both help and to obtain some publicity ?. (Though I would think that he would probably take a neutral stance while the club is still in ownership, no matter how tenuous and controversial that ownership may be)
