  • He was at fault for both goals and should be dropped...1st thru legs an 2nd he reacted too late

No we were not. End of argument.
  • Seen the second goal again. Moved a little, but maintain he should have saved it. His starting position was wrong and he reacted really slowly. He was clearly caught out and wasn't expecting a shot.

Unless you like hoof ball football I guess.

Sitting in the West Upper, the free-kick seemed to travel in slow-motion and I fully expected Button to at least get something on it.On tele he looked as though his feet were manacled together. In fact, they appeared that way whenever he kicked the ball.

I don't like being overly critical of players after a couple of sightings, but Hamer needs to come back pronto.
  • People need a reality check. For the first 55 mins we were on top. A scab goal and a wooldie and heads dropped. Shittu was a beast but apart from that it was even.

definitely true massive over reaction and criticism of players on here, have to say the atmosphere at the valley this season has been crap they probably moan about us too

And yet we still played long ball.

We've played long ball since January 2012. There is no other way. And we thought Parky had no Plan B.
You sure? We were battling and tried to play. Shittu kept them in it for 55 mins then Jacket made the subs, they got the goals, and then yes no plan B. We couldn't respond. But it was pretty good from us for that first 55, especially in those conditions. Hats off to the players for trying to play football despite the conditions. Often first to the ball, and tried to play through the midfield. Jackson very influential, Pritchard busy and effective. Callum H had a trick or two. The only thing that kept them in it was that Danny Shittu was right on top of his game, and Forde's save (from Harriot). Crap result yes of course, but not the end of football as we like to know it!
