He played really well against us on the opening day of our first Championship season, looked a threat down the right and linked well. Think we toughed out a 2-0 win against clearly superior opposition that day.
Having seen Powell's comments ,I think this signing is similar to Cook and N'Guessan last season to help us 'over the line' this season with a chance of a years contract if successful.
I watched Gower closely on TV for the Swans when we were linked before and felt he was genuinely two footed and is a dead ball specialist, hope he could help us close out games and give us a spark of creativity.
Well if he is genuinely two footed and a dead ball specialist any comparison to Cook and N'Guessan goes straight out the window. He sounds good already.
Given that he was on the bench for a good team in the PL - I'd guess that he's probably got a lot of quality and I would expect him to be heavily involved in the first team. Plus, he wants to play for us, which is a big plus in a loanee. I think it is an astute signing, personally. Good luck Mr Peninsular.
Jackson wouldn't be playing as a winger, but as a left-side midfielder, coming inside to help when needed, with Wiggins given carte blanche to overlap. Jackson has played effectively in that position before many times. Green made a very good cameo appearance against Burnley and deserves a start.

Green at the expense of who though? Haynes is one of very few players we have with any kind of pace, Harriot is doing well and his confidence would be ripped to bits if he got subbed. Green has very little defensive instinct/talent, certainly not enough to play in the centre. Keep him as a reserve to shake it up in the second half.

I expect him to make about the same impact as frimpong did just slower.
welcome aboard.

As long as he hasn't got old legs, Gary Doherty stylee.
Gower fits the bill
I'd personally play a midfield of Jackson/Gower/Pritchard/Green from what we have now
