I hate to be the voice of doom on the back of a useful point last night but I feel I owe everone an aplology in advance should saturday not go to plan at Huddersfield. Being a season ticket holder working up north I have not made it to any midweek home games this year and thus from my 13 visits to the valley this season I have witnessed one solitary victory. Our form on the road, of course, has been outstanding. However, my one away trip ended in dismal defeat at Hillsborough and whilst I was supposed to go to the matches at both Blackburn and Leicester, work commitments meant I had to forgo these successes at the last minute.
It is therefore with some trepidation therefore that I will make my way to the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday (allowed special dispensation to go as the missus is a udders fan). I sincerley hope that my seeming jinxing of the team will be lifted on Saurday but if we get battered maybe I should stay keep my distance from our beloved club until the end of season!!
