Would like to start by saying that Powell was excellent last year and managed to get 20 odd players to gel very quickly. We were very good in a poor league and deserved to be champions but Powell wasn't really tested tactically.
This year I am still pleased with Powell, I'm happy with the season overal so far but obviously slightly worried with our recent form. Powell is doing a good job under difficult financial conditions, he seems popular with the playes and loved by the fans. Powell and the back room staff are still very inexperienced in management, Powell, Dyer and Matthews all had experience with reserve and youth teams prior to their appointments and no first team experience. Would there be any harm in asking Hart or Peacock to sit on the bench (not as subs) and provide a different view point and another set of eyes? All other young managers seem to have an older coach in the dug out. Good or bad idea.
Hope this doesn't sound anti powell because I am not. I hope he is here for a long time with improvement year on year although I wish he would give some of the u-21's a go from the bench but then again I dont see them train day in day out.

Great record as a youth coach, so we'll leave him there
You do get a completely different view of the game from the stand, having said that not many other managers do it, but may be worth a try.
