SUBS: Phillips, Harris, Lennon, Gerard, Derry
  • There goes Kerker's chance of starting tomorrow : - (

Unless we're playing with nine men and Jordan Cook's middle name is Kerkar....?

Tomorrow ie at Peterborough not today
  • @CAFCofficial: GOOOOALLL!! Charlton take the lead through a header from Joe Pigott. Follow the action here --> http://t.co/JxWaQvwbQN #U21sLive (IL) #cafc
  • Charlton double their lead in the 23rd minute. It was a howler from the Swans keeper Cornell, who played a pass to a centre-back who was looking upfield and allowed Smith to pounce and fire into the top of the net.
  • No Harriott, so could mean a bench/starting place tomorrow?
  • Just back from Sparrows Lane after watching first half. Good display all round, with good distribution from Kevin Feely and good work up top by Smith and Pigott. With those two and Ade Azeez, why the need for a 2nd rate loan striker? Jordan Cousins now a fixture in midfield, with Harry Osborne at RB. Kerkar doing well wide left and Jordan Cook back in action.
  • Only 3-0!! I blame the pitch

  • Sack Laudrup!
  • Pope, Feeley, Piggott and Smith impressed. Smith scored one and provided crosses for other two headed goals.
  • This U21 side are a bit handy.

    entertaining game

    re: Pope

Didn't think we had a prayer when I saw he was selected but even though he made a couple of cardinal errors, more than made up for his sins with a holy excellent performance - deserves much praise
  • Oakster - you can't make any goalkeeper/religious connections without using "crosses". It is the first rule of goalie/religious puns.

I thought that only applied to Dracula !!

  • No Dracula is afraid of crosses, religious goalies like crosses.
  • Why is there grass at the used daily training ground, but a sand pit at the used fortnightly valley?
  • Four or five pitches at the training ground and a synthetic pitch so wear and tear is spread around.

No huge stands blocking out sunlight that allows the pitches to dry and grass to grow.

No necessity to play games ie FA Youth cup when it is pissing down and the pitch cutting up
