"Michael Smith opens the scoring here (on 40 mintues). Morgan Fox put the ball into the box where it bounced around. Joe Pigott's effort was blocked and it fell to Smith, who poked home from close range."
It finished 4-0 to the under 21s with two goals for Michael Smith one for Callum Harriott and one from Kevin Feely. It was a good all round display by the boys who thoroughly deserved the result.Michael Smith opened the scoring in the first half with a neat finish. He led the line very well with his strength and good hold up play.It stayed at 1-0 after 45 minutes. In the second half Callum Harriott scored the goal of the game when he dragged the ball back with his studs, beat a defender and rifled the ball left footed into the corner al la Messi.Smith earned himself a penalty when he jinked inside and was tripped in the area.He picked himself up and scored easily from the spot putting the ball to the goalkeepers right. The fourth came from a corner which Feely powered into the net with his head.My man of the match was Harriott who played in a central midfield position behind the two strikers. He caused Cardiff all sorts of problems.Michael Smith was close behind with an excellent Centre Forward display.

My first look at Kevin Feeley. IMO looks to have something about him. Very noticeable that even though he has only been with us a couple of months, how vocal he was and appeared to be organising the back four.
He has a presence on the field. Not the tallest, especially when playing alongside Adjayi, but won most of his headers and was strong in the challenge, often nipping in front of his forward to steal the ball. The headed goal capped off a very impressive performance. Be interested to hear what others who have seen him play think.
Bradley Jordan, our captain, seems to be improving everytime I see him.
Don't understand mention on the thread about a trialist? Certainly none on view, excluding Carr.
Carr came on for twenty minutes, ran around a lot.Feely,as you say,is very strong good in the air and reads the game and is also a good leader.I saw him against Ipswich and Nouble and Emanuele-Thomas and he seemed to handle them ok.I have followed Bradley Jordan's career for three years now. When he first came into the side he had a lot of skill but he was a bit frail. He has got a lot stronger and was flying into the tackle. He can pass the ball well and looks a good prospect.

From CAFC OS
3 in 6 at Accrington, then 4 in 8 at Newport and prior to that he had 37 games for Darlington as a 19 year old.
Still only 21 and i think he might be decent for us in the future.
GOAL! There's the fourth. Kevin Feely heads in Bradley Jordan's corner in the 90th minute. 4-0 to Charlton now. (IL) #cafc

Maidstone got it wrong.
I will only believe it when I read it on Football rumours

Sign him up Paul !
I wonder if they have scouted him yet. I'd imagine they know about most of the decent players in the area even if they don't sign them.

Daniel Carr is 18 and was on Reading's books so has some pedigree,
Can't see how tall he is which as we all know is the most
